Many of you will know that I had an eventful first day at work as a trainee lawyer – in that I was arrested/assaulted by an off-duty police officer who thought that I’d help up Sainsbury’s at gun point. Obviously, a case of mistaken identity.
I’ve blogged about this event before. To coincide with its twentieth anniversary, I posted a video about the day. That video went somewhat viral, with 50,000 views. The video is 9-minutes-long!
Surprisingly, a Daily Express reporter picked up on the story and – hey presto – the paper ran the story, as did the Manchester Evening News, all based on the blog from this site.
I hate all this. It is, though, a cool story and I knew at the time that it would shape my life. And it still is.
